Thanks abooz for the update.
I saw the soil testing a few days ago but when I passed by this morning, the soil testing machines were all gone. This latest update is really upbeating! It is indeed a good piece of news for all residents in Anggun and nearby areas.
My only hope is that they speed up the road expansion project because the existing road condition can pose a nightmare to everyone. A few days ago in the morning, a road tanker was stalled just after the traffic light some 200 m from the toll. I got stuck for 30 mins from Anggun junction to the toll!
When Jusco is completed and the road has been expanded/upgraded, Anggun and surrounding areas will be a really nice place to live in.
Can those already moved in to Anggun 1 provide an update of the situation there? The guards seems to be very strict and diligent in performing their duty and this is very good. I wonder if they make their rounds around the perimeter and also every lanes with their dogs (they suppose to). |

This morning they are moving in the kongsi. I talked to the person in charge, he told me it's JUSCO. Expected completion is 9 months from today. Yahoo.
The guards are extra diligent. My house is located at the end, close the to fence facing the forest. i sleep late and whenever i look out of my house or my cctv, i'm sure to see gurads walking, cycling or patroling with dogs. very happy with them and they are a friendly lot.
proud to Anggunian. _________________ Have a nice day! |

Hi Geng,
I just want to share with you some of my observations as Anggun resident as some of you are asking for it:
Positive issues:
1. Security Guards...very good! Always walk around with a dog and sometimes dogs during night time. I made some complaints to the guard on certain issues like, the MPS didn't collect the rubbish, Argon welding cylindar left in the middle of the road by fencing contractors etc and they really follow up the issues up to the point escorting the rubbish truck everytime it comes in.
2. The landscaping is well maintained but some equipments in the playground start gettting disintegrate rapidly.
Negative issues:
1. A lot of renovation contractors are still in the compound and some of them drive very fast and disregard the kids who are cycling and running around the area. Need more bumps in the area.
2. Some neighbors are a bit inconsiderate in the neighborhood! It is great and fun to celebrate Chinesse New Year with fire crackers but why one has to play it after 12AM in the morning! This was not a tiny little thing that had been fired up but it sounds like a 'bazooka' right after midnite! People got kids to go to school next day, old folks with heart attack and most of all people have to go to work next day! Pls be considerate in this issue next time since we are living in one area. I have complained the issue to the guards on why they allowed people to play 'bazooka' type of firecrackers after midnight on weekdays and the guards sadly said that they can't do anything to the 'owners' here because they are so "Actions". This was the exact word used by the guards.
3. Some of the owners use their 'transponder/gate pass' to get into the compound but SOME just give a 'honk' to the guard to opne for them the gate and use the visitor driveway to go in/out of the compound. Why did the management give us the transponder' if we don't use it and force the guard to open the gate for us. It is fine to do it that way under certain conditions like raining outside, windows jammed but abusing the facility could backfire to us. Don't get me wrong here folks for sharing with you my observations. If this keeps happening than when people steal your cars then the culprits can easily exit the compound without using the transponder. This happens in some other ares before and I hope it won't happen here.
OK..folks those are the things that I want to share with as we should share our observations together in order to maintain healthy neighborhood environment. Regards |

Thanks termite on your updates...
1. I too noticed that some of the contractors are driving quite fast in Anggun compound, but I wouldn't agree to add more speed bumps. Perhaps the developer can remind harshly the owners or the contractors direct on their behaviour...
2. Loud noise - While i can still tolerate the minor fireworks at night during such celebration, I can't tolerate if the sound is like bazooka and continous for minutes at night (even worse, late night). Pls be considerate to others. I have also experienced just recently, one of the neighbour partying (it was a birthday party I think) til near 12 midnight with loud (very loud) continous music since 7pm. I know in the US, we can just call cops and the home owner needs to stop playing the annoying loud music. Again, I hope the Anggun residents can be more considerate to each others.
3. Guard house gate - Can someone bring the issue highlighted by termite to the developer? How can the selfish residents expect the guard to open the gate for them while they themselves have the access card? If it's raining, then ok. The problem is I don't want outsider to just have this drive thru "facility" as well.... be considerate pls...
thanks |

Hello guys,
I am not a resident of Anggun 1 but will be for Anggun 2. I am just curious about the guard house gate system. Isn't the transponder suppose to work without winding down the car window or does it work like the Touch n Go using access card?
If the Touch n Go type systems, perhaps the RA should consider upgrading it to the "transponder/sensor" type without opening the car window. I am not sure about this at Anggun 2. Anyone know anything about this?
I agree with all that it will defeat the purpose of strict security if the guard allows virtually anyone to go through by just honking their cars. It will be just like any other guarded communities where you just have to wave your hand and the guard will simply let you in without asking.
I suppose some owners do not want to purchase too many access cards and they share the access cards with all the vehicles. I reckon this can be easily sorted out by having a residential meeting and ensure that the guard is strict in enforcing this.
Remember, security will always caused inconvenience. The more in convenient you caused, the more secure it will be to strangers and would be robbers and thieves. I am just hopping Anggun 2 will do something about this. |
