Hi people. I recently booked a unit in Putramas condo and have already signed the S&P and paid the loan legal fees. However, after discovering the BAD condition of the units there, and finding out that other buyers are facing a lot of problems with the quality of their units and not getting good cooperation from the management, I have decided to let go my unit.

I informed Mayland (the developer of Putramas) and I was told to write a letter and the rest is up to the management's discretion. What does that mean?

I just don't want the unit anymore because it is not as what it was promised. So what discretion are they talking about?

Are there any legal terms that I should observe?

Please advice ASAP.

Hi Salsa!

What the management meant by `its discretion' is whether they will refund your deposit or otherwise.

Read through clause - Default by Purchaser and Determination of Agreement.

Cheers!
