Petrol price up plays doesn't play as big part as the rise of construction materials in recent days.

Steel and cement prices has gone up the roof. And the government has lifted the ceiling price, meaning to say, it there is demand, prices will go up. And demand is not limited to domestic. The whole world is fighting for the same resources.

Just my two cents, the property developer either:

1. Those cash rich, in which, they will rush to secure whatever they can and complete their projecgs as soon as possible before the cost of material eat too much into their profit.

2. Those that cash strapped, they will just buy bit by bit and pray for better days (or worse, ie, recession set in and all prices of material will drop).

Hope our developer is type no. 1

hi! new comers reporting to villa park! I should have come to search online earlier to look for so many precious comments...

I went to the show unit and found it very nice place to stay and there are only 1100sq ft available. luckily last minute b4 i walked out from the show unit, 1300 sq ft left one unit (i think the previous booking's loan got problem).. so i immediately booked.

Anyone take some shots of their show room? I feel it very comfort designed. Planning on copy some of the ideas for renovation in the future.

And the last visit I made is last Friday, left <10 units on Block A which are lower than 9th floors on 1100 sq ft available.

Updated with my unit here:

Hihi Sicoux,
Welcome to our neighbour's list. Glad to see another neighbour. Wow you are lucky to book the 1300 sqft type. My bf and I actually wanted the 1300 sqft type, but during that timw when we booked, the available ones were only 1100 sqft type. But anyway, i'm happy already to have a unit in VP Very Happy Very Happy

Hey Shan,
Thanks for your info. Wow, no doubt you went there last week, huh Laughing
Hanging out in the show room again? Or purposely wanted to have a look at the construction progress? But anyway, level 5-6 is very fast, good Laughing Laughing

Any more updates? Please feel free to add Cool

I think the whole show house needs about ~RM40k in renovation (excluding furniture and electrical applainces)... Just my estimation...Plaster ceiling, kitchen cabinet, living room cabinet, sliding doors, "pull wire", mirrors on walls, wooden flooring (at the balcony place), etc etc bla bla Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

wow 40k... with electrical and furniture will be 60k?
that is way above my budget i think Sad

by the way, my dad said last time when he bought his place, when the contruction is doing the wiring for his unit, they contractor should inform the unit owner to ask him whether he wants to add in additional points at the unit. this is to prevent the owners from having to tear down the walls and repaint it to add in additional power points.
i dont think VP will inform us, right?

do u know what colour lights VP using for our corridors?
ahh guess to soon to ask about that. Embarassed
do you people have the floor plan of the unit u bought? with actual measurements?

I'm not sure about the measurements, but i guess you can get it all from your SNP. The layout, plans, lift locations, etc....

Correct me if I'm wrong. If I'm not mistaken, i think that letter is to show that the land belongs to the developer (not the bank) to build the condo izzit? and the developer has fully paid to the bank for the land and not owing anything already, something like that?

u already sign snp? did u ask them lastime when u booked the unit? from what i know, it's just a doc to show that the land belongs to the developer and is free from any debts from the bank.
