hi jane, hope you cancelling your booking wasn't due to anything about the development itself. all the best and hope to see you in future. Smile

reddene>> found that it's easier to get a loan with the local banks (but be warned they take a long time to approve/confirm anything. had probs with alli@nce and u0b as well - eventually it was cimb that approved my loan. good luck!

Alliance has approved my loan, and I'm super duper happy. This guy named Greg (016-5591010) is very helpful and friendly. It took only 2 days for him to get my loan approved, amazing !!!! Do contact him should you require any assistance or information about your housing loan

Hi Jane,

It might be young for now, but the house will be completed in 3 years from now. I'm sure that by that time you'll be able to earn more than now. Moreover you are sharing this house with your boyfriend, then its even easier. If you get a house now, at least you know that your money is going to the house. If you don't have this commitment, your money will still missing without u knowing. (Thats for my case, I'll surely modify my car if I don't have such commitment). Although it will be a bit tight budget, especially after next year when the petrol price increase, but I'm sure that it is still better if you rent houses from other people. Paying for nothing. Moreover, you can treat this property as investment too, although I'm dunno whats the ROI for this project. But if lets say if price this house increase by 20-30%? You can sell it off by then~

Just my 2 cents~ Wink

hi Jane, mind to answer my previous question:
1. any charges impose by developer for cancelling the booking?
2. will u get back the deposit paid?

agreed with xsamuraix. its good to start on property investment at young age. anyway, its your choice...

Hie RedDene,

I think the developer won't impose any charges for canceling the booking, but we can't get back the deposit paid~

Your house loan will last ~20-30 years. It is better to buy at young age.
please take note that buying a new property will need you to fork out a lot of additional money to do minor reno before you move in compare to 2nd hand prop. Need good planning so you have enough money to prepare everything.

As for booking fee, some developer do give full refund:) it depends.

Jane & Samuraix - When are you guy going to sign your S & P? This coming sunday or next sunday?
Is anyone know what is the status on the new link road? Yesterday i called the MPSJ and ask the status of that road and that person in charge said hopefully it will be open by beginning next year.
