My sister purchased a house in Shah Alam at RM305,000. When the MOT was presented for stamping the valuation dept determined that the value is RM 350,000.
This valuation is substantially higher than the housing loan valuation and the estate agent that did her transaction said that the transaction prices are between RM 300 - RM 320K.
Just would like to check if there are any avenues to appeal the valuation as the additional stamp duty is almost RM 1 k? How long would an appeal normally take?
Appreciate any advice on this... thanks |
