Hello people in Selangor,

I have read that there are plans to turn the Ayer Hitam Forest Reserve in Selangor into one big camping ground. This is better than cutting down the trees for more housing development. And certainly better than using the precious land for burying the dead.

But a Reserve does not always remain for long a Reserve (look at Sungai Buloh Forest Reserve). Using the Reserve as a recreational ground is the best way to conserve the area as a green lung.

People staying around this Reserve and those who enjoy seeing and experiencing greenery- lent us your support.

I give my whole hearted support to SAVE AYER ITAM FOREST RESERVE campaign too. I'm also a fellow TREE HUGGER! Trees do not belong to us! It belongs to our chidren's children! It's our green legacy & no one has a right to take it away not even greedy developers or state G-men under the guise of public good or policies. STOP CUTTING DOWN OUR TREES!
