I probably can call up rhb to ask how true or how misleading it is, but just for the sake of chit chatting online... i came across this rhb superinvest as well as supersave in .://..rhbbank.com.my/personal/services/fixed_deposit/superinvest.shtm

The condition is to put 40% of your funds in Fixed Deposits and the remaining 60% in Equity Unit Trust funds. 39%p.a is guaranteed interest rate on the fd portion?? Exclamation Question that sounds like a good deal isnt it, barring any fineprint i hv missed out

Interest rates for RHB SuperInvest are as follows:
(effective from 1 June 2005)

Tenure Interest Rate (% p.a.)
1 month 39.00%
3 months 15.00%
6 months 9.00%

Minimum Initial Deposit
1 month tenure - RM12,500.
This comprises minimum RM5,000 in Fixed Deposit and RM7,500 in Equity unit trust funds.
3 and 6 months - RM5,000
This comprises minimum RM2,000 in Fixed Deposit and RM3,000 in Equity unit trust funds.

strange, when we say we invest into equity, there is no garantee... i did check out the link that you provide and it has no clear indication the interest rate are application for the whole lump sum that you put in or just the fix deposit portion. (according to RHB ratio 40% into FD and 60% into equity fund) i'm pretty sure there will be a catch. pls find out out and keep posted =)
