To all expert,
I would like to get your advice as I am currently in the dilemma of suspending my house renovation.
I have started my house renovation before i get the approval from MPSJ. When the house is half way renovated, I went to MPSJ office and apply the renovation permit by using the piawai.
After few days, I got to know that my application was rejected, not due to I started the house renovation before getting approval, but due to the house renovation is not following the piawai. I was asked to stop my house renovation immediately.
My house has only 5 ft space behind, so I have extended my kitchen to another 5ft. However, the MPSJ claimed that I must leave 1M at behind. If I need to leave 1M, I think I do not need to extend my kitchen already.
Furthermore, not only my house doing such renovation, most of the house there extend their kitchen up to maximum. I believe they never apply any permit from MPSJ but yet they managed to finish their renovation before noise from MPSJ.
Now my house renovation is suspended, I cannot just see my house abandon like this. Please advice what can I do? should I ignore the approval from MPSJ and continue the renovation until it is completed? or should I stop the renovation until MPSJ gives me the approval? I believe it will take very long time for the second options.
I hope to get advice from all of you. Thanks a lot! |

Well. anything is possible. If i were you, continue renovation like the others and later wait for "COW MEAT DRY". The authority will not vandalise your house if your extended area is reasonable.
For those who intend to do renovation, house owner need to get approval from authorities (eg DBKL, MPSJ, MPPJ etc) and most probably, there is ready cheap drawings to buy. Most of the times, you need to visit them at least 3 times. GL
How to get what you want if you follow 100% rules?

What you say is like easy, all you all guys plan for doing renovation is your hard earn cash. not easy to save about RM50k in short time, of coz still have many richman was did it. But is it need to take this brave to try the luck and since they already clearly stated the rules?
Is it valueble for you to try or maybe you did it also. Im not in here to object your opinion, but what i say is different peope have different way to manage their works. But at least must think it twice before do this coz have no any one can control you and remember it must responsible to all for what you did it before as long is passing your own heart and not try to cheat urself and even others. Sometime people won't have that feeling since they haven't fail before.... |
