Hi all,
Our bank just revised a new fixed rate package for home loan. Feel free take a look.
Public Bank Home Plan (For Completed and Uncompleted Properties)
1) Home Plan Fixed Interest Rate For 3 Years
Non Free Legal Package
Loan Amount: 100k to < 200k
Interest Rate: 1st 3 Years : 5.75% p.a
Thereafter : BLR – 1.65% p.a
Loan Amount: 200k & Above
Interest Rate : 1st 3 Years : 5.30%p.a
Thereafter : BLR – 1.65% p.a
Free Legal Documentation Package
Loan Amount: 100k to < 200k
Interest Rate: 1st 3 Years : 6.45% p.a
Thereafter : BLR – 1.65% p.a
Loan Amount: 200k & Above
Interest Rate : 1st 3 Years : 5.85% p.a
Thereafter : BLR – 1.65% p.a
2) Home Plan Fixed Interest Rate For 5 Years
Non Free Legal Package
Loan Amount: 100k to < 200k
Interest Rate: 1st 5 Years : 6.25% p.a
Thereafter : BLR – 1.65% p.a
Loan Amount: 200k & Above
Interest Rate : 1st 5 Years : 5.95% p.a
Thereafter : BLR – 1.65% p.a
Free Legal Documentation Package
Loan Amount: 100k to < 200k
Interest Rate: 1st 5 Years : 6.75% p.a
Thereafter : BLR – 1.65% p.a
Loan Amount: 200k & Above
Interest Rate : 1st 5 Years : 6.35% p.a

Hi
My loan is 100k and for 5 yrs and for a completed landed property valued at RM350k
Could you work out the diffrence between legal and non legal total cost and the monthly instalment for each package

Thereafter = 1892 / Month
Fixed Rate 5 Years
Non Free Legal Package
Loan Amount: 100k
Interest Rate: 1st 5 Years : 6.25% p.a
Montly Instalment = 1945 / Month
Free Legal Documentation Package
Loan Amount: 100k
Interest Rate: 1st 5 Years : 6.75% p.a
Monthly Instalment = 1968 / Month
Other Normal Home Plan Available
Non Free Legal
Interest Rate : BLR-1.80 = 4.95 %p.a
Monthly Instalment = 1885 / Month
Free Legal
Free Legal available for loan tenure > 15 Years or loan amount =>150k
