Hi Allan

I am not a tax expert.......

The rental income is taxable.

When you buy a house, you need to pay stamp duty... lawyer fee for S&P and Loan.

What do you study at uni???

Hi

If i am not mistaken, the rent is like your normal income. Don't worry, i think your income from your rent would attracts too much tax...

If you are still a student, i wonder how you could pay tax because you have no income tax account..... etc.... you might want to apply for an income tax account....
