I am also mad at the defect... but I tell myself : OKlah, move in too early pun I have to tahan all the renovation grilling noise from ground to level 20... jadi lambat sikit pun ada baiknya.... |
wah more than RM1000 cheaper than Essenza's quote 
I checked Cavency oredi. workmanship so so lor. But can get the whole bed room set for >RM1600. Sofa oso plenty at >RM800 (non removable fabric). One thing that i dun like is the prices are not fixed. They can further give you discounts on items. - they should display the lowest price to attract customers lah :p |

Hi Kerlsea, i think the cabinet he quoted is reasonable woh..one more thing, MY KITCHEN CABINET OREDI INSTALLED! then i was so hairan why they done it b4 defect, William told me kitchen taklah banyak defect..what lah...but nvmind, klu apa-apa yg tak betul, i memang bagi diaorg kao-kao. Dan i blum p tengok lagi...

My colleague told me to check on some factory name sounded like "Cavency" at Balakong... not yet check.

From essenza is it...then i will go for it oso..normally part-time cleaner charge RM40.00 for 3 hours (my present home), so, duno essenza tu RM50 meant for how many hours ah? Or cuci sampai bersih?

Memang betul murah..tapi sendiri kena climb and pasang as Sim katakan..essenza punya quote tak jugak banyak beza, so i go for essenza punya curtain railing and rod. Then only balcony door i put wood rod plus railing saja, yg lain-lain bilik juz normal railing..nanti banyak pulak nak cuci curtain. As for clothes hanger, i pun suruh essenza pasang, the roll-up style..RM290.00.

Yeah..u can go and check for it..nearby only from JutaMines. But that day i kena tipu from their advertisement (sbb i baru beli sofa set for present home) u better carefully read as the advertisement punya harga is for one particular colour only. Klu choose lain-lain warna, tambah $.
And one more thing, TRANSPORT CHAJ AT RM100.00 for any destination.

di jalan subang nk masuk ke airport lama tu. dekat dengan mama kitchen. hehehe.. nama kedai dia lavender kitchen.
i tatau murah ke mahal, but dia bg i material melamine for kitchen kbnt n also the wardrobe (ye ke? tak sure lah!). then sinki for concrete n tiles for the table top. they also give me kbnt above the fridge n wall hung kbnt above the sinki mcm yg kat essenza tu. wardrobe mirror sliding door anti jump for main bedroom, n melamine for 2nd bedroom.
i ada cek dgn my fren yg kje as an ID. she said melamine is much cheaper than maica. then i started to rmmbr sherman's quotation which his material is maica n not so expensive somemore. hmmm... pastu i pening balik. haha. susah jugak nk buat keputusan ni!

i dh agak iklan cavenzi tu ada trick dia! and my sister in law ckp, mula2 dia pg cavenzi, tp sbb kna byr kos hantar rm 100, dia pg kedai perabot yg di tgh2 2 cavenzi tu, sblh kedai hardware klu tak silap i. lg murah n hantar pun free saja.
i think curtain railing pasang sdr lah. beli kt ikea murah ye? will go for that. hehe. bagus lah kat sini. semua info ada! |

Guys,
What bout electrical fittings? Ceiling fan, lampu and so on..that day i ada tanya harga wif one of the contractor, worksmanship lbh kurang RM 20.00 for ceiling fan, RM 8.00 for normal fluroscent light..
And i found out that Jusco punya barang electric ada murah sikit dari SenQ, dalam puluh lah..example, panasonic water heater SenQ dlm RM369.00, then jusco punya RM339.00. |

one of the Philips 42in LCD TV, Jusco RM3,000 lebih murah daripada SenQ. Lol LoL . Jusco = RM6,999 Senq = RM9,999
electrical installation, i semua campak kat Essenza.
non decorative - fluorescent, downlight = RM10/unit
Decorative = RM20/unit
Fan/Ceiling/Wall = RM25
Water heater = RM45 |

curtain trail/rod tu memang murah. tebuk satu dua lubang pasang - siap! I ada electric drill kalau nak pinjam |

You punya quote from Sherman RM20/setiap kaki lebih mahal daripada i punya quote kerana you pilih permukaan yang lebih mahal daripada I nya. Remember Sherman kata - jenis permukaan paling murah, sederhana dan paling mahal? paling murah bukan maksud cheapo lah, paling murah dari semua sampel yang dia tunjuk. Memang ada lagi yang lagi murah tapi dia tak buat nanti kecoh pulak rosak setahun dua :p
anyhow, you dapatkan quote /harga untuk setiap kaki. senang sikit nak compare. Kalu concrete sink dengan tiles berpatutan, you ambil lah. Kalau wardrobe dia murah you boleh ambil lah.
Anyhow, i dah confirm kitchen cabinet, 8ft atas and bawah dan 4ft sink cabinet. Itu aje yang I buat. simple aje. Kalau sampah dah banyak sangat takde tempat nak sembunyi, boleh tambah cabinet bila bila masa
oso - i outdone myself today !  i pergi ke jutamines, telefon Shahrul, suruh dia hantar orang buat tiles .. I cakap, I tunggu di unit saya sehingga dia orang datang. Sekarang 2 tiles pecah kat kitchen dah tukar. Lebih syok lagi, tile lantai yang i baru perasan pecah sikit (dan belum masuk dalam defect list) pun dah tukar. I tunjuk aje, kat dua orang staffs too, dia orang pandai pandai pergi cari tile lantai dan tukar untuk saya. Mula kerja 10:40am. Rehat 12.20pm- 1.10pm (dia orang tidur kat unit I ) i tak beredar pun. I tengok dia orang tidur. kerja siap lebih kurang pukul 2.30pm 
sekang tunggu Essenza pasang telefon line di bilik ketiga and cornice to living room. Selasa depan, pasang lampu dan kipas. Jumaat 19th atau Isnin 22th, boleh pasang kitchen cabinet dan semua fittings yang i beli dari IKEA, cermin lah, tower rail, bla bla
lepas semua dah siap pasang, I minta Shahrul buat touch up, minta Essenza cuci unit I lepas tu, I pindah barang dari rumah lama  |

i mmg tgh confused skrg ni. tgh fikir2 mcm mna nk dptkan harga utk setiap kaki. actually, harga yg sherman bg tu not bad. klu masuk hob n hood and sinki, harga dia jadi lebih kurang saja. tapi sherman guna material maica yg i dpt tau kualiti ok n yg satu lagi ni gna melamine yg kualiti dia kurang skt dr maica. harga sama utk material yg lain. tu yg i jadi keliru tu.
i tau wardrobe klu gna mirror mmg mahal, sbb tu i tak tny sherman hari tu. hehehe. seriusly i mmg tatau nk pilih now. dh byr booking rm 100 pun pada org tu, but still thinking nk pilih sherman or lavender kitchen.

kitchen cabinet base unit $/ft
Kitchen cabinet wall hung $/ft
Concrete sink cabinet 4 ft how much
Wardrobe ceiling height 9ft, how much $/ft.
lepas tu baru senang compare. kalu dapat harga lump sum susahlah. seorang quote 7ft seorang quote 8ft .. tak boleh jadi lah :p |

I heard from a friend, and she heard from Block A occupant, that the whole block B cable was being stolen once. My frend, her husband being a certified wireman, found that the DB box in her unit, the cable "kena balut", meaning JM did not replace with new cable, they simply "balut" the the part where the cable cut. Her husband said, cable yang "kena balut" will not stand long, sure got problem in the future. They asked JM to replace with new cable.
When I knew about this, my DB box already properly covered, so I donno what is happening behind the DB box and the cable in the wall.
So please beware of this issue. Anybody got this in your defect list? |

essenza also mentioned about the case - my main switch wasnt insalled when i received my keys. hopefully my unit tak kena lah :p
anyhow - my cornice and phone line extension 70% done oredi. Should have everthing done today and light and fan installation by next Tuesday :p

at 12noon today - 3/4 of my fans are installed. The Bayu at the master bedroom is halfway done - lights living done liau. still half way lah. they should be able to finished everything today. they still need to conceal my telephone wire and repaint the cornice and touch up the wall. My done my Essenza lah. But go to V World Lightings (in front of Serdang commuter stations, they provide cheaper service - too late for me - i went there to get two more lights today and asked him, he said he also provide the service owr. I asked about fan installation - he said RM15 wor. Mine RM25 :p percuma RM40 = tumbuh kepak !! My whole house lightings from them.
btw - dark colour bayu doesnt look nice on our white colour ceiling  .. look freaking strange - try get silver or lighter colours if you can. will post the photos here when its done.
