|
|
Hi All,
Recently, the unit below my bro-in-law unit has been complaining about leakage on his unit. The management (developer) has informed my bro-in-law on this and they suspect it's due to internal pipe leakage. They also ask him to fix the problem since his unit is already pass the warranty period.
My question is, who is the party to responsible for such work since we actually nvr ever touch the wall with the pipe before? If it is due to poor quality material from the developer, should we be penaltise to fix all the problem? It's kinda unfair to us. Since the area is just around 3 yrs+, we can't think of any reason other than poor quality material and work from the developer.
Let's assume that we seek the help of lawyer, how much percentage that we will be able to get the developer to fix their own problem?
Thanks for any advice. |
