i hope i dont sound like a noob.

how do i spot a difference in mutual funds or unit trust.
are they both the same or totally different trust
i have 2 prospectus with me at the moment. and i want to compare both the unit trust that are given to me in the prospectus.

can anyone please show me how to differenciate between the both

Hi,

Mutual fund is the term used in USA.
Unit Trust is the term used in Asia.

Both of them are similar.

There are many funds to choose from depending on your financial need. If you want an aggressive ones, then choose growth fund or equity fund that can give you return around 50% in 3 years.

I don't think that 's what SUperNova meant...

What I read from his/her post is he/she has two brochures now and asked 'how to differenciate'...

SUperNova, what would you like to differenciate between them? Risk Level? Returns potential? or ?? More details pls..
