I've a few foreign student wanted to rent my apt, as for precausion measure, I've check their student pass and find out that the pass has been expired. They didn't bring their passport as well.

What are the procedure to rent to the foreign student ?

Good thing you checked that. I am really not sure if there are certain procedures but make sure that before you accept them, get their information and any of their contact person like family or relatives.

That's unacceptable. Good thing you have checked some docs and found out those expired student passes and passports missing. kismet's right, you have to have atleast a background check to verify their entry to the country and have their parents or relatives know all about this. we should also protect ourselves and our properties.
