1st, what type of property you prefer? which area?
with your income level, if you dont have other high committment, you can have loan RM500k and above. Wink

i have a 100k+ car not settle yet.
prefer something small, like studio.

Just want to know what ppl will do with 10k income.
I told my friend i plan to buy a small 200k+ studio, he said with such income, i should buy something landed and at least 400k+
He is smarter and make more money than me, so i always get some advice from him.

I'm about 30 years old, prefer single for the moment.
Kepong, 1U PJ Damansara, Ampang, Pandan is my target area
MK, Bangsar, KLCC is not my target

House too big make me feel so lonely sometime.
I like Menjalara18 & Pertama Residency Taman Pertama concept.
Very nice design, low density, good location & come with a affordable price.

Never thinking about investment, i just want something i like.
I think if i like that house, it wouldn't be any problem to sales it for some profit, my taste is quite good.

Sai,
the only one that can decide this is you. My pref was to initially buy for investment, and look for ownstay later, but every one differs and many different reasons to buy - own stay/own stay then investment/ investment purely etc et.

If its for own stay, then buy what you'd like to have, if it's a studio, it's a studio, bearing in mind when you get married later, you'll probably have to move into a bigger place. So would look for a studio in a place you'd like to be, and also where there is high demand for later when you move out. Or just buy a nicer apt now, and stay there!

with 10k per month, your options are wide open, ur loan payment can be up to 3333k a month, so you could buy a studio to stay and a couple more to invest! lol.... so go out, look around, understand your budget limits, define more what exactly you want and are are comfotable with, then follow the swoosh - just do it Wink

have fun!

I just got my loan approved with that amount. approval from CIMB, HLB and Public Bank.

I like the condo, big house like Double-S, Semi-D is too big for 1 person
Don't you think

Wah, I can loan that so big amount ...
but i'm afraid the biz can't go smooth all the time.

Actually i'll choose the >300k option
It's very surprise me when there is no board member choose <300k

i think the votes were slightly tilted because people assumed that you're asking about affordability.

if i were still single and about your age, i think i'll be opting for a studio or a 2-room condo, and these types of properties should cost less than 300k.

in fact, i was very attracted to subang soho when i first viewed the show unit, duplex studio (or whatever they call it), was really blown away with the concept. unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on personal opinions), i'm already attached and not considering such luxury.Wink
